Iligan City Flood - January 14, 2009

Like what I've told you in my earlier posts, it's been 4 or 5 days now that we are still affected of this tail of the cold front (not sure if it became a storm already). I thought the whole situation will just be easy and controllable but I was wrong when I woke up this morning and some of my neighbors were actually evacuating because of a very big flood.

Actually, I live in a subdivision (but still muddy) so the waters did not entered our house. But, since some of my neighbors live near in one of the major rivers here in my place, the Mandulog river. That river overflew destroying the crops and properties of some of my neighbors. I am really sad of what happened.

Right now, as I am writing this post, the rain isn't over yet. We still don't know when will this end. I hope pretty much soon.

For the meantime, take a look of these pictures I took early this morning in the flooded areas.

Please help me pray for these victims and hope that this Iligan City Flood will end really soon.

May the government expedite the help they needed. Yeah, let us pray for them. :(
