How Fast is Fast?

Lately, I've been really thinking why my Internet Connection slowed down. Ive been experiencing it for several days now and I am really irritated about it. As a student and an Internet addict, slowing down of the Internet connection is very much frustrating.

There are several things I do online. I blog, I read my e-mail, I update my Friendster account, I do researching and a lot more! Of course since I depend so much on Internet, I have just this simple question on my mind about Internet connection speed, "How fast is fast?"

As a blogger, does "fast" means you can easily upload photos and submit your posts easily?
As a researcher, does "fast" means Google can give you the search result for the green man in his green world in 0.20 seconds?
As a student, does "fast" means you can easily visit Friendster and your mom don't know about it because she thought your were researching?

For me, fast Internet connection has a lot of meaning depending on who or what type of person who is using the Internet. It depends on how he uses it and how that "fast" Internet connection give benefit to him. So now let me just ask you, "how fast is fast for you?"
